Juvenile law
Our assistance
In today's society, the position of a minor is often very vulnerable.
Juvenile law is therefore specifically intended to protect these young people.
Juvenile law is a specialism that has emerged from two larger legal areas: personal and family law and criminal law. The combination of civil juvenile law and juvenile criminal law is increasingly common in practice.
If minors have committed a criminal offence, they must appear before the juvenile court. They are then assigned a lawyer and are then tried in a closed session. The minor and the parents are required to appear in court.
However, a juvenile court judge does not only play a role in these types of problems, but the juvenile court judge can also place a minor under supervision or even remove him or her from the home.
This happens when parents are involved in a contested divorce, for example. It is the Child Protection Council that submits these types of requests.
Mr. P. Celikkal is defending against such requests from the Child Protection Board. Such measures are very drastic for both the parents and the child. This is why it is important that a specialized lawyer looks over your shoulder.
